The Sales and Marketing Executive shall be fully responsible for the sales and marketing functions and securing new and prospective business. The Executive shall ensure that the company attains and achieves the set monthly and annual targets. The Sales and Marketing Executive will be the organizations’ primary contact person in sales and marketing related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall co-ordination and growth of sales and marketing for the company. Responsible for the growth of sales in the company by achieving set targets and strategies. Follow up leads to convert them to actual business. Meet Sales Targets and Budgets for volumes and profitability.
  • Report accurately on customer visits and arrange appropriate follow ups. Handover to Operations clients’ requirements to ascertain that Operations are able to adhere to clients’ requirements.  Monitor and ensure clients’ service level agreements are met.
  • To plan and organise Sales activities including client meetings. This plan shall be communicated to management regularly in liaison with the Business Development manager as agreed from time to time.
  • Preparing and sending daily, weekly and monthly report and Market intelligent reports to the Business Development Manager as agreed from time to time. 
  • To monitor quotations and offers to clients and agents. Ensure the company does not miss business opportunities due to non-response
  • Maintain records of customer details and sales visits
  • Identify potential customers and register opportunities; relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
  •  Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support Client Services Department and work closely with Operations and on the execution of customer service contracts.
  • Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Credit Controller.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree Commerce (Marketing Option) and
  • Professional certification in marketing with reputable professional body


  • Minimum 4 years’ Sales experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics
  • Industry Experience is highly desirable.
